I’m just back from a volunteer assignment with Catalyste+ in The Philippines. The client, a woman-owned small food-processing business, had asked for “a simple business plan”, to establish a roadmap for growing the business.
During 2 incredible weeks, we brainstormed the current state of the business, created a vision for its future, defined tasks & projects to achieve that vision, and created a physical Kanban board to manage the improvement program (an internet version like Asana or Trello was at this time not practical).
In addition, I touched on many other business aspects to improve processes, or provide further education.
What a wonderful experience!
